Web App UI/UX Design
FortifyData, a world-leading Cybersecurity Risk Management platform that enables their clients to identity and manage risk exposure across the entire attack surface, brought The Skins Factory in to redesign their core platform UI/UX design. Our team refined the existing UI and UX over 40 screens, while modernizing the visual design, weaving neumorphic elements into the analytics' visual design.
Windows & Mac Desktop Application UI/UX Design
In 2009, The Skins Factory was contracted by our client Screencast-O-Matic to redesign their flagship screen recorder application. Now, 13 years later, The Skins Factory has once again been tasked to redesign & modernize their flagship Windows & Mac desktop client application, ScreenPal, a robust, best-in-class screen recorder & video editor used by some of the world's biggest brands. Feature-rich, intuitive and powerful, users can record video via their screen, webcam or both. The Dark Mode version was an internal design and not released to the public.
Mobile App UI/UX/IXD/UCD Design
"I want to be able to put a name to a face" the client told us. This sparked a mobile app design project that took almost six months to complete. The Skins Factory was able to transform a simple concept into a fully designed application, meeting the challenge head-on. From outlining core feature sets & creating user flow maps, to low-fidelity and then high-fidelity wireframes, our team of user experience designers rose to the challenge.
Windows & Mac Desktop Application UI/UX Design
Hi-Dog Network and Technology Company, a leading game publishing studio, brought in The Skins Factory to design the UI/UX for their new gaming platform. Our design team was furnished a series of low-fidelity wireframes that we used as the foundation to build a sleek, intuitive interface.
Web App UI/UX Design
DocPanel, the world's largest radiology marketplace connecting imaging providers and patients to a network of over 700 US-based academic and subspecialty radiologists. Our UI/UX design team seamlessly integrated a clean, sleek visual design language, strategically employing generous white spaces to enhance the UI and combat eye fatigue. Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of mid-century design, we curated a sophisticated color palette. Shades of refreshing mint green interplay with deep charcoal greys and bold blacks, imbuing the interface with a sense of understated professionalism. This project is ongoing.

Mobile App UI/UX Design
HODLIT, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, approached The Skins Factory to do a full redesign of their applications UI & UX design. We started with a complete refresh of their onboarding process and user experience. For the visual design, our creative agency used a hybrid, visual design language of 2D and neumorphic elements creating a subtle, tactile feel to the user interface.
Mobile App UI/UX/IXD/UCD Design
Our creative agency designed over 90 iOS screens (static & animated) and merged 2D, neumorphic, & skeuomorphic visual design languages, to introduce a more game-like user experience. This revolutionary healthcare app integrates apps, devices, & wearables while utilizing cryptocurrency as a secure payment solution and blockchain as a secure platform to manage & transfer patient health data.

Our UI/UX design team redesigned ACI's Biller App in a way that reimagines the digital payment experience across web and mobile. This modernized concept blends clean 2D interface design with tactile, dimensional elements to create a more intuitive and visually engaging user journey. Each screen, from account verification, wallet, user profile to payment completion, emphasizes clarity, trust, and ease of use, supported by a cohesive visual language and immersive background imagery that shifts with the payment process. We also created a complete design system to bring clarity, consistency, and scalability to a complex fintech platform. It combines a comprehensive UI kit with a robust style guide, carefully defining everything from color, typography, and spacing to reusable components and interaction patterns.

Web App Portal UI/UX Design
The Skins Factory's second outing designing InnovaMD's healthcare portal. The project's discovery phase began with our team conducting User Research/Interviews. Over the course of 2 weeks, we interviewed Physicians, Clinic Administrators, and Office Personal, to learn the pain points they were experiencing with the prior version of the application. This research was vital in pinpointing where to make the necessary usability & interaction design changes.

Pareto Cyber, a leader in cyber prevention & defense, contracted The Skins Factory to redesign their secure, scalable, forward-thinking cybersecurity program for mid-market and enterprise. In an effort to forge new ground, our design team broke the paradigm of red, yellow & green and designed an alternative color scheme to denote critical, high, medium and low risks.
Web App UI/UX Design
Phase 2 of 2 for two UI/UX redesign projects by Acme (client's name changed by request to maintain confidentiality) to redesign their responsive browser applications. We focused on a super crisp, design language that deploys subtle modern trends, while making sure usability was amplified compared to the previous iterations. Foregoing utilizing a modal system, all secondary screens were created as slide-in panels. Super-wide, horizontal tables were visually broken up with colored, vertical columns.

Utilizing a combination of stock and custom illustrations merged seamlessly, bursting with color, and an intuitive design language based on user flowmaps our team designed, the end results are something truly unique and remarkable.
Tablet App UI/UX Design + Printable Patient Discharge Template
CareCentrix, a leading home and health benefits management company, contracted The Skins Factory's design team to create an iPad iOS application to be used by Nurses in hospitals, which provides them analytics on patient outcomes and makes recommendations for patient discharge. Our graphic designers also created a Patient Discharge template in both color and B&W for printing and tablet distribution.

FK Irons, a leader in precision tattoo machines contracted The Skins Factory to design their revolutionary tattoo mobile app. Artists will discover unparalleled freedom with the FK Irons mobile app, harnessing Bluetooth technology to empower tattoo artists like never before. From toggling their device's power and fine-tuning voltage to unlocking eGive and updating firmware — the new FK Irons application manages it all effortlessly, wirelessly, and in one place.

Get2It, a global leader in No Code development, enlisted the expertise of The Skins Factory to create a mobile application for Special Needs/Autism Caregivers and their clients/children. Recognizing the difficulties faced by parents and caregivers of individuals with special needs, The Skins Factory & Get2It spent time crafting an easy-to-use application where gamification via a task & reward system was put in place to help facilitate the completion of tasks.

Multi-Platform App UI/UX Design, Design System
This sleek application monitors equipment, energy management systems, electricity prices and weather to help building owners sell energy reductions into the demand response markets. Beginning with a complete 27 screen overhaul of the interaction design, The Skins Factory redesigned the entire user experience & visual design for both desktop browsers & Tablet (separately) and followed up the application design with a custom Design System that empowered their development team.

As a leader in SAP security solutions, ERP Maestro contracted The Skins Factory to redefine their UX/UI Design for a small subset of screens. We voluntarily scope creep-ed the project ourselves, when our team designed multiple analytic dashboard color themes. We felt that ERP Maestro's customer base would appreciate having a visual choice.

Credibly, a provider of small business loans and working capital financing, contracted The Skins Factory to redesign the core UX/UI Design for their online, one-page loan calculator. Taking cues from their brand identity color palette, our design team worked in close collaboration with the Credibly executive team. The results are a modern, responsive web application that is not only intuitive to use, but follows the latest trends.

The Phase 1 of a two-part project for a fintech company. The Skins Factory designed a responsive, digital banking wallet that included a multi-currency wallet, the ability to manage accounts, exchange currencies and more. The digital wallet breaks free from the traditional finance mold with a digital platform that exchanges crypto and fiat currencies.

The Phase 2 of a two-part project for the fintech company, Holt Financial. Originally slated to be a complete responsive application design, the back-end solution that was to be utilized by our client became no longer viable. This part of a 2-phase project was then nixed. We did however manage to design an amazing cryptocurrency exchange / marketplace dashboard in dark mode.

Web App & Mobile UI/UX Design
When major fintech company ACI Worldwide Universal Payments needed to redesign their flagship product's UX/UI Design, they contracted The Skins Factory. Over the course of 6 months, our design team created 49 Adobe Photoshop .PSD files, completely overhauled the UX & UI for over 150+ screens (browser & mobile) and created a placeholder logo for the application. The results are nothing short of spectacular.

Animated Desktop App UI/UX Design
VCE, the Virtual Computing Environment Company contracted The Skins Factory to design a futuristic UX/UI Design for their VBlock brand. The results are an animated, holographic-styled application user interface design, that could just as easily live in a science fiction movie, as it does in the reality of a desktop or tablet display. Pulse runtime effects and motion graphics breathe life into this desktop and tablet application.

When a luxury reseller needed a chic, iOS mobile application to streamline the way they receive new inventory, they contracted our design team at The Skins Factory. Using the latest design trends, we fashioned an app that was not only supremely intuitive, but elegant and very easy on the eyes.
LMS + Learning Analytics Platform Application UI/UX Design
The Skins Factory was invited to rethink the UX & redesign the visual UI for the flexible LMS & Learning Analytics Platform — Otus Plus. Utilizing a collapsible & expandable, double sidebar navigation, the intuitive design is receiving 5-Star reviews from some of the biggest names in the educational app review market. From Login Screens, built-in browser, vibrant analytic graphs, seating charts, blog design and much more.

The Skins Factory was brought in to redesign the user experience and visual design of the InnovaMD healthcare browser application. Taking color cues from their brand identity, we added additional colors to boost the palette while staying true to the brand. One of the last components we designed was creating a Design System for their developers to create subsequent screens using our defined design language.

When Intel approached The Skins Factory to create the entire user experience for an upcoming consumer line, their prime directive was this — ignore what came before... re-imagine what's possible. So we did. The Skins Factory worked hand-in-hand with Intel's engineering teams to design an experience unlike anything that had come before. Through a creative mix of animation and contact-driven behaviors, The Skins Factory was able to completely rethink the way a control panel should work.
Windows Client Application UI/UX Design
Hookflash set out with a single goal: to create the ultimate cross-platform client application for desktop communications. Doing so required finding a concept and design partner capable of thinking outside of the box — enter The Skins Factory. Taking cues from mobile application trends in simplification, we nested deeper less-used functions neatly & logically throughout the UI, while clean lines, a translucent framework & shallow tactility created a sense of calm and purpose.
Mobile Application UI/UX Design
The Skins Factory designed everything from the manual / automatic trip capture screens to the dashboard, scheduling, navigation, trip manager, scanner, report submissions, locations, logins and more. Our team came up with the idea to include a version for day + night use and even implemented a version for those users who are color blind. Pulse effects were deployed as a visual cue, so drivers could focus more on the road and less on the app while driving.
