This sleek application design monitors equipment, energy management systems, electricity prices and weather to help building owners sell energy reductions into the demand response markets. Beginning with a complete 27 screen overhaul of the interaction design, The Skins Factory redesigned the entire user experience (UX) & visual design (UI) for both desktop browsers & Tablet (separately) and followed up the application design with a custom Design System that empowered their development team. By creating this System, Viridity Energy’s code developers could use visual design elements we designed to create subsequent, redundant screens. This enabled us to cut 10 screens from the scope of work, saving our client significant costs.
The Browser Version
One of the benefits of working with our UI/UX design teams, are our innate ability to think outside of the norm. This comes from over 20 years of experience designing digital products and user interfaces. Take for example, using a semi-transparent, isometric baseline on the graph. Instead of relying on 2D elements, we lift off the baseline, imbuing it with depth and weight.
