Credibly, a provider of small-business loans and working-capital financing, contracted The Skins Factory to redesign the core UI/UX of its online, one-page loan calculator. Working closely with the Credibly executive team, we created a modern responsive web application that drew directly from the company’s established brand palette while making the calculator feel clearer, more intuitive, and more contemporary.
The Challenge
Modernizing a core lending tool without complicating the experience
Credibly’s loan calculator needed to remain a focused, single-page experience while presenting its financial information and interactions clearly across different screen sizes. The redesign could not add unnecessary complexity or allow the interface to distract from the calculator’s central purpose. It needed to feel current and credible while remaining straightforward for small-business owners exploring their financing options.
Our Approach
Using the Credibly brand to create a focused responsive experience
We treated the calculator as one continuous experience, establishing a clearer visual hierarchy, more deliberate spacing, and responsive behavior that preserved its usability from larger browser displays through smaller screens. The interface took its visual direction from Credibly’s existing color palette, while close collaboration with the executive team kept the redesigned experience aligned with the company’s brand, product goals, and expectations.
