When The Skins Factory started back in December 2000, we started designing custom media player skins for clients like Microsoft, Warner Bros., TDK, and almost all the game studios. We would soon venture into complete Windows desktop theming for Disney, Alienware and many others. We understood even back then, the need & desire for people to personalize and customize elements of their digital lives.

Around 2007 we created HyperDesk. A complete Windows desktop customization. Today, we’ve recolored one of the wallpapers originally titled “Sway,” originally modeled and rendered in grayscale by Alan Sherman. We’ve infused them with vibrant, multi-colored gradients that make your computer desktop and mobile device come alive with color. We just turned 22 years old back in December 2022 and wanted to go back to our roots and offer these to you. They’re free to download and enjoy. All we ask is you redirect people here for the download so we can gauge their popularity. We have a 2nd offering coming in about a month featuring wallpapers on the cooler side of the color spectrum.
