What makes fintech UX different from designing a normal app?
Fintech products handle sensitive financial data where trust is critical, and poor UX leads directly to drop-off, failed transactions, and lost confidence. The work carries identity verification, funding, and regulatory steps a normal app never touches. We design across cryptocurrency platforms, trading marketplaces, digital wallets, banking payment systems, consumer payments, biller applications, and financial SaaS, for both desktop and mobile, so the constraints of each product shape the flow.
How do you handle onboarding and identity verification without losing users?
Each added field raises abandonment, so we stage it. Let users reach a meaningful first action before the full identity check, then introduce verification when motivation is highest, and explain why each piece of sensitive data is needed at the moment it is requested.
